KPIs
On the top of the dashboard, you will see a couple of KPIs. According to the period you have ran the report for, the KPIs are calculated accordingly. We will go over the calculation of each of them.
- Personnel costs (CTC): The Personnel costs indicate the total costs of the Employees from approved timesheets. This KPI includes absences, surcharges and the Cost to Company. With CTC, the total expense of employees are considered. When CTC is enabled in the settings, the employees their wages are multiplied by their contract type's CTC percentage.
- Turnover: The turnover which are entered in Insights will be displayed here. If you have a POS integration, it is possible to have the turnover synchronized to Shiftbase.
- Expenses: The expenses which are entered in Insights will be displayed here.
- Percentage personnel costs (CTC): The percentage of the personnel costs opposed to the turnover. (Personnel costs (CTC) / Turnover x 100). If there is no Turnover, this percentage will not be calculated.
Graphs
Below the KPIs, you will find a couple of graphs. Below we briefly explain how these are calculated.
- Absence percentage: This is where we calculate the absence based on the contract hours, meaning the percentage of absence in hours will go down to zero on the days when there are no contract hours. The absence type must count as a Leave.
- Salary cost percentage: Here you can see what percentage of the Turnover needs to be paid to the employee without cost of company.
- Salary cost percentage including CTC: Same as above but a different amount due to the inclusion of the Cost to Company.
- Salary per hour: This graph is based on the salary per hour without the cost of company. The amount of worked hours are divided by the total net salary of the day. Be advised that employees without a salary indication in their contract also count for this graph.
- Turnover per hour: This report shows the overall profit in euro for this department divided by the amount of worked hours.
- Worked vs. scheduled hours: This report simply shows the percentage of how many hours were scheduled vs how many hours were actually worked, ideally, it should be 0%, meaning the amount of scheduled hours has been fulfilled. Example: 10 scheduled hours but only 5 were approved in the Timesheet, you will see a value of -50%.
