The Employee Sentiment Analyzer captures real-time feedback from employees immediately after they clock out. By allowing employees to rate their shifts and share how they feel, managers gain valuable insights to identify issues early, track sentiment over time, and improve the overall work experience.

Configuring the employee sentiment analyzer
The employee sentiment analyzer is disabled by default. If you wish to use the feature, you can enable it by navigating to Settings > Time tracking > General > Employee Insights.
Clock-out Experience (Mobile)
After you have enabled the employee sentiment analyzer, employees will see the sentiment rating screen. Employees are asked how they have experienced their shift by selecting one of three sentiments accompanied by keywords to help describe the experience.

Sentiment Selection:
Employees choose from three predefined sentiments:-
Happy

Neutral

Unhappy

Keyword Chips (multi-select):
Each sentiment category includes context keywords to help describe the experience:Happy: Creativity, Efficiency, Flow, Satisfaction, Teamwork
Neutral: Balanced, Consistency, Ordinary, Predictable, Routine
Unhappy: Equipment failure, Communication, Schedule changes, Understaffed, Workload

Free-text Field (Optional):
Employees can provide additional comments to explain or elaborate on their sentiment.
Sentiment widget
The sentiment widget is available on the Insights page, giving managers a real-time overview of team sentiment. Users must have View Insights or Edit Insights permission

Respondent Count: Total number of employees who submitted feedback

Sentiment Distribution: % breakdown of Happy, Neutral, and Unhappy responses

Top 3 Keywords: The most selected keywords across submissions
Sentiment Report
If you wish to report on the employee sentiment, you can find a dedicated report for it in the Reports > Insights. In the report you will find the following columns:

Sentiment Score: The sentiment score is shown in number values 0, 50 or 100 representing unhappy, neutral and happy respectively

Keywords: Selected tags

Comment: Optional employee-provided feedback
💡 Note: To run the report, make sure you have the View insights and View reports permissions.
