Permissions

Permissions are an important part of Shiftbase. It allows you to specify per function which permission group it falls under. These permission groups can then be assigned per department in the Teams & Permissions of an employee.

Changing The Names Of Permission Groups

Account manager: This person is outside of the permission groups and has access to all areas within Shiftbase.
Default permissions: These are the permissions that apply to employees that are created.

Changing The Names Of Permission Groups
The names of various groups in the permissions can be changed by clicking on the name of the permissions group.
Changing Permissions
Changing the permissions can be done by checking/unchecking the boxes behind the permissions under the different permission groups. After modifying, click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.
Add Permission Group
By default four permission groups are set. Additional groups can be added by clicking on the button + New group.
