How to insert the automatic turnover forecast
The automatic turnover forecast is first presented to you by email. Every Monday, we will email you with a forecast for the coming week. All other days, you will receive an email with the prediction of the coming three days, allowing you to update the forecast given on Monday.
In this email, you will see the date, weather forecast, current forecast in Shiftbase and the automatic forecast. Press the Green button to continue.
You now have the option to select the days you wish to keep. Existing entries will be overwritten.
⚠️ Caution: The turnover forecast is instantly entered in Shiftbase. This action cannot be undone.
AI automated forecast
With Shiftbase Premium, the turnover forecast can be automated with AI. The automated forecast looks at the following datapoints to make a prognosis.

Historical turnover data inserted in Performance

The weather forecast based on the address entered on the Department

The period of the year
To enable the AI forecast, navigate in Shiftbase to Settings > General > AI Forecast and enable it.
To check the AI forecast, navigate to the Schedule and click on the + icon on the top right and click on Forecast. Here you can view the AI forecasted turnover. Values can still be edited to your reference. The AI will remember the forecast and gives you the ability to reset a value to the AI forecast. It will only suggest to reset, if the value is within 20% range of the AI forecast.
📝 Note: Shiftbase will need more than 28 days of actual turnover in the Performance page in the past before it can start forecasting.
How to join the BETA
If you are interested in participating in the BETA, you must meet three requirements
- You must be using Shiftbase for more than 2 months of turnover data from the POS on a daily interval.
- You must have an active POS integration, preferably with MplusKASSA or Lightspeed
- You must have the willingness to provide feedback about your experience and participate actively.
