What do the different time off balances mean?

In this Article you can find out what the different time off balances mean.

In Shiftbase there are different time off balances which are displayed in the Absence Subheader. What they mean you can find out here:

• Accrued in the absence balance means how many hours of leave the employee has accrued on this day (meaning today).
  • Carryover is the days / hours you carried over from the last year.
  • Accrued are all the days / hours you have collected up until this day
  • Forecasted is your balance broken down in carry over, what you accrued up to today and what your remaining accrual for the rest of the year/contract will be.

• Corrected means that these are all the corrected day / hours that your manager did to your balance

• Used are all used days / hours of your absence
  • Taken represents the hours of leave taken in this year. Only approved absence requests are displayed as Taken.
  • Pending are all the requested absences that have not yet been approved
    
    

Remaining is the total leave entitlement for the entire year. If the employee started later than January 1st, then the calculation is based on the start date of their contract until the end of the year.
