In this article you can find out how to add custom fields to your schedule and timesheets.
It is possible to add custom fields to the schedule and timesheet. This allows you to include company specific information.

Adding custom fields
Navigate to Settings>Schedule or Time tracking>Custom fields.
Now click on the button + Custom field in the upper right corner to add fields for extra information.
💡 Tip: Think for example of the clothing size for company clothing, license plates of company cars and project numbers.
When adding a new custom field you will be asked for some information, please fill it out.
Types:

Text Field: Free text field where something can be entered.

Numerical Field: Only whole numbers can be entered.

Decimal Field: Numbers with decimals after the comma can be entered.

Monetary Value: Amounts of money can be entered.

Date Picker: Dates can be entered.

Checkbox: A choice can be made between yes and no.
- Single-select Dropdown: You can add multiple options but can only select one in the schedule/timesheet.
- Muli-select Dropdown: You can add multiple options and also select multiple options in the schedule/timetracking.

- Description: Add a note to your custom Field

Shifts: Custom field is shown when creating/editing a service type.

Schedules: Custom field is shown when creating/editing a schedule.

Timesheets: Custom field is shown in that the fields are insightful/editable in the timesheet.

- Order: Decides in which order the custom fields will be displayed.
Click on Save when you're done.
💡 Tip: Check multiple functions to be able to find the data in different places in the application.
Finding the custom field
Depending on what you selected in the option Applies to, you can find the created custom field in a different place.
Shifts:
You can find the custom field in every shift or shift template you open in the Schedule tab
Schedules:
You can find the custom field in the Schedule tab when opening a planned shift.
Timesheets:
You can find the custom field in the Timesheet tab when adding a new timesheet.
