Hey there! 👋 Here's what's new, fixed, and downright awesome in Shiftbase.
Release Date: May 27th, 2026
🚀 Top Highlights
A faster way to get around Shiftbase's new navigation is rolling out to all users - and if you're already part of labs, you can try it today. We've redesigned the sidebar, moved "My pages" to a clearer spot under "My items," and added a short guided tour to help you get familiar with what's changed. It's built to be faster to navigate and easier to grow into as Shiftbase adds more. Enable Labs to try it yourself!
Find anything with Cmd+K Press Cmd+K on Mac or Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux, and a search bar appears that takes you anywhere in Shiftbase in seconds. Jump to a schedule view, open a team member's profile, add an absence - all without touching your mouse. It also surfaces settings and pages you might not have known existed. Available in labs now.
Cancel HR PRO yourself, from settings Leaving HR PRO used to mean contacting support. Now you can do it yourself, directly from Settings in Shiftbase. We walk you through what changes when you cancel, and your data stays intact - so if you ever decide to come back, nothing's lost.
🛠Other Fixes & Improvements
- Cleaner schedule summary bar: The bar at the top of your schedule now steps back when things look good and flags in red when something needs your attention - open shifts, conflicts, or violations. Less noise, more signal.

- Employee info now syncs to Nmbrs and Loket: When you hire someone in Shiftbase, their details - including bank account and social security number - are now automatically sent to Nmbrs and Loket. We've also added validation so the data arrives clean.
- Fixed: timesheet totals rounding incorrectly: Timesheets with seconds in their duration could produce slightly off totals. That's fixed.
- Fixed: scheduled shifts disappearing on plan downgrade: Downgrading to a free plan was causing scheduled shifts to vanish on days that also had absences. They stay put now.
- Scheduled line now in mobile Insights chart: The scheduled hours line is now part of the Insights KPI chart on mobile, so you get the full picture of planned versus actual on the go.
📱 Mobile
- Smoother login experience with clearer error handling.
- Clearer options in the multi-factor authentication setup.
