Creating a task

A task in Shiftbase can be created and scheduled just like a regular shift.

For a task, no hours are being calculated and a task will not be displayed in the timesheets. You could use this, for instance, to schedule a meeting.

Creating a task works as follows. Head towards the tab Schedule.

In the top left you need to click on Shifts/Teams.

In this menu you click on the green + symbol to add a new shift.

You will be shown the following.

Here you add all the details of the shift. At the bottom you can check the box that reads Task. This way the shift will be saved as a task.

You can recognize a task by the clipboard symbol as seen at the list of standard shifts and in the schedule.
