Hey there! 👋 Here’s what’s new, fixed, and downright awesome in Shiftbase
Release Date: April 2nd, 2025
🚀 Top Highlights:
-
Customize your SDWorx Components: Administrators or account managers can now personalize their hour and wage components in the SDWorx integration, giving them more flexibility in how their work is categorized and reported.
-
First shift guidance: We've added a helpful guide that pops up to walk new users through adding their first shift, making the onboarding experience smoother and reducing confusion.
🔧 Additional Fixes & Tweaks:
-
Fixed an issue where ongoing absences weren't extending properly when updated. This ensures that when an employee's leave situation changes, their time off is accurately tracked throughout the system, preventing scheduling conflicts and payroll discrepancies that previously required manual corrections.
-
Improved how absence reports display paid days by consistently showing both "Paid days" and total days off, rather than just showing the total. This gives both employees and managers a clearer picture of leave balances and compensation, helping with financial planning and staffing decisions.
-
Updated the checklist numbering system to adjust dynamically as items are completed, replacing the static numbering that could become confusing when tasks were finished out of order. This creates a more intuitive experience that better reflects actual progress and helps prevent missed steps during important processes.
Mobile:
-
Fixed a copying issue that was keeping users from copying details on mobile, leading to inefficiency.
-
Solved the frustrating problem of the keyboard covering the text field when writing diary notes on Android devices.
