📓Note: Insights+ (Early Access) provides powerful analytics and reporting capabilities to help you understand your workforce data better. This feature is only available for users in the Premium plan or above of Shiftbase.

Absence management chapter v1

We've introduced a new guided onboarding experience for absence management. This update simplifies the setup process, making it easier for customers to configure and manage employee absences within the system.

🔧 Additional Fixes & Tweaks:

  • Absence balance selection fix: Previously, users could mistakenly select a day-based absence balance when setting wait hours for absence policies, leading to miscalculations. Now, balances in days are excluded from selection to prevent errors.
  • Open shift decline notificatios: When all invited employees decline an open shift, an email is sent to a predefined permission group. With this update, users can now choose who receives these notifications, instead of it being fixed to a specific group. Existing settings will remain unchanged unless updated.
