Shiftbase Mobile 6.0.0

The mobile app has a whole new look. New icon, new splash screen, a refreshed login screen that finally handles your keyboard properly, and the Shiftbase rebrand throughout. Your absence overview got the biggest upgrade: no more cramped bottom sheets, just full screens split into Requests, Reviewed and Past, with proper detail views that match what you already know from the web. You stay logged in after updating, so there's nothing to do on your end.

Auto Scheduling, sharper on every step (early access)

Auto scheduling now respects your shift templates properly, so shifts created with a hidden end time stay hidden. You can see at a glance which required shifts are being used in a run and which fall outside the period, switch between employee and team view while reviewing the draft, and see your demand forecast reflected in the results. The forecast step is gone from the checklist and now lives as a warning in the readiness check, which keeps the flow moving.

Payroll preparation keeps getting better (Labs)

Picking a period is now a click instead of a date-by-date exercise, thanks to preset ranges and a period picker that shows two months at once. The flow is also open to Basic accounts, so more of your team can walk through it. Each step now describes what it's actually asking of you, skips itself when there's nothing left to do, and the payroll report opens inside the flow instead of sending you off to Reports.

🛠 Other Fixes & Improvements:

• Pick your theme: Light, Dark, or Match system. The theme switcher is now in its final form, and the command palette is themed properly in dark mode too.
• Edit mini-job payout dates: Prepared a mini-job payout with the wrong date? You can now change the month and the dates, with a heads-up when you're setting a date in the past or overwriting one that may already have been processed.
• Forecast deviations flagged in the schedule: When your own entry differs by more than 20% from the forecast, the schedule tells you right there in the Forecast row.
• Excel turnover import: Turnover imports now accept Excel files alongside CSV, and dates and numbers come through cleanly instead of being guessed at.
• Easier horizontal scrolling: Timesheets in employee day, week, and month view got a real scrollbar you can grab and drag. More pages will follow.
• Sticky permissions table: The top row of the permissions table stays put while you scroll, so you always know which group you're looking at.
• Personio import fixes: You can now map employee custom fields yourself, and imported employees keep their actual Personio start date instead of picking up the import date.
• Zenchef reservations stay in your restaurant: On busy days with over 100 bookings, Zenchef could pull in other restaurants' reservations. Fixed.
• Loket employee import repaired: The Loket import had stopped bringing in anyone since 8 September. It's running again.
• HoorayHR contract end dates: Contract end dates imported from HoorayHR now come through correctly.
• Kiosk error messages: When an IP restriction blocks access to the Kiosk, the message now says so clearly.
• Time off balance accuracy: Expired hours are now reflected in the time-off balance bar, and the accrual table in the contract modal no longer shows a blank, unlabelled state.
• Reports and schedule polish: The period overview report works again when grouped by week or day, favorite reports keep your navigation in sync, expected turnover stays visible while you edit it in month view, and total pills stop bleeding into neighbouring rows.
• Smaller touches: Notes in the timesheet now have distinct colors for "has note" and "add note", absence items have rounded corners matching shift items, popovers animate like tooltips do, "Find cover" is gone from shifts already in the past, and there's a fresh set of avatar colors across web and mobile.

Mobile:

• The rebrand is the headline (see above), along with the redesigned absence overview.
• Insights tables now follow the team and department order you configured.
• The splash screen stays up until the app has actually finished rendering.
• Refiner surveys work again in the native app.
• Notification status icons are clearer thanks to updated design tokens.
